This week there was a discussion in the IRC channel about a missing job board for cake related jobs. Voilà, here it is: findABaker. Feedback is as always welcome :)
Btw: I switched to a minimalist blog theme which should fix the issues with displaying code snippets in some browsers (and it is a good fit to my minimalist writing style *g*).

Hey, wow that was fast, didn’t we just talk about that yesterday? ; ). I like the design of it a lot btw. ; ).
Are you serious with that $20 fee later?
@Felix: Well, it is a very simple app with a model, a controller and some views/elements. With Cake it is not that much work ;-)
@klevo: Yes, I think it is a fair price. But it is also possible that I change my mind. We will see :) (it is my first job board I started *g*)
hmmm change the home page
http://www.42dh.com/
it still shows the cake default page, with your app. full paths.
Why is findabaker not a full domain? Seems kinda low-rent. I like the design and all, but it kinda feels that you didn’t take into account why and how other job boards are succeeding right now.
Also, the form doesn’t work properly in Safari or Camino (I’m on a mac).
@repsah: I fixed it, but the real site is not ready yet ;-)
@Walker Hamilton: Thanks for your feedback. The reason why I have chosen a subdomain is that it is just a side project. But there will be a change soon, so stay tuned ;-)
What is the problem with Safari and Camino?
no problem for displaying this form on safari.

Cake Baker’s Blog: FindABaker Job Board Started
